KJ Singh is a Mumbai-based National Award and Filmfare award-winning sound engineer, sound designer, music producer and guitarist. He owns a successful production house, Fast Forward Productions, a studio, where he is normally found, Studio A6TG and Big Chief of a music label, Asli Music.
He holds a Diploma in Sound Engineering & Music Production from Trebas Institute of Recording Arts (Toronto, Canada) and a Masters in Political Science from Hindu College, University of Delhi.
With over four decades of substantial experience spanning diverse projects for Bollywood and Tollywood, independent music acts and jingles, KJ has built a reputation for having the Midas touch when it comes to sound. His ability to meticulously pay attention to the tiniest of details when it comes to sound ensures that projects he lends his ears to sound top notch and crisp.
From Film composers, AR Rahman, Vishal Bhardwaj, Vidyasagar, Harris Jayaraj, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Amit Trivedi, Nadeem-Sharavn, Anu Malik, Ismail Darbar to independent artists Indian Ocean, Rabbi Shergill, Parikrama, Hariharan, Kailash Kher, Neeti Mohan and Spud in the Box, KJ Singh has worked with the best names in both the commercial and indie scene. Some of his notable projects include Maachis, Satya, Chachi 420, Bhagmati, Makdee, Maqbool, Rang De Basanti, Guru, Omkara, Delhi6, Robot, Vinnaiyatandi Varuyaya, Sakkarakati, Rockstar, Tamasha and albums Kandisa, Black Friday, Rabbi's "Bulla Ki Jaana", Rekha Bhardwaj's Ishqa Ishqa, Spud in the Box's Attention Please and Leadfeet Paper Shoes, Deepa Nair Rasiya's Destination and Jazim Sharma's Pyaar Bepanah.
